Multi-million selling songwriter SHRIDHAR SOLANKI began his entertainment career at the age of 11 as an actor on British television.

After spending much of his childhood on the popular BBC show, Grange Hill, he began appearing in Musical Theatre Productions in London, where his love of song grew. First signed to the legendary Ministry of Sound as a songwriter, Shridhar found early success in the UK. A chance encounter lead to a deal in Nashville and eventually Los Angeles, where he lives now. He has written songs with and for numerous award winning artists including Dua Lipa, Jennifer Hudson, Andrea Bocelli, Carrie Underwood, Seal, Cliff Richard, Katharine McPhee, Craig David, Sabrina Carpenter, Natalie Imbruglia, Stan Walker, Justice Crew, Super Junior and Namie Amuro and has been involved in many chart topping records worldwide.

Shridhar’s music has been featured in numerous TV shows and films including Twilight, Breaking Brooklyn, Disney’s Lemonade Mouth, Grey’s Anatomy, Beauty & The Beast, Switched at Birth, Bunheads, Austin & Ally, Rizzoli & Isles, Kiss Bang Love, BET Awards, American Idol, Pointe Break, Teenage Newlyweds, Adam Ruins Everything, Love & Hip Hop Hollywood, Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, Garage Squad, Married At First Sight, United Shades of America and Younger. Shridhar also penned the theme songs to the hit Disney show’s Girl Meets World, Stuck In The Middle and Andi Mack and Freeform’s Young & Hungry and Travel Channel’s Watt’s World.

Alongside his writing career, Shridhar is one half of the internationally acclaimed band Cider Sky, who’s song Northern Lights, featured in the box office smash, Twilight: Breaking Dawn. Billed by MTV as ‘one to watch’ Cider Sky are constantly writing and releasing new music.
